What are All-on-4 dental implants?
We understand that losing a full arch of teeth or facing the prospect of losing them to severe decay or gum disease can feel incredibly overwhelming. Traditional dentures used to be the only option, but they sometimes slip, make chewing trickier, and do not stop the underlying jawbone from shrinking.
All-on-4 dental implants (often referred to as full mouth dental implants) offer a permanent, secure alternative. By strategically placing just four or six titanium implant posts into the jawbone at precise angles, we can maximise your natural bone support. Because titanium is incredibly durable and well-tolerated by the body, these posts fuse perfectly with your bone over time. This creates an unshakeable foundation to support a full, custom-made bridge of natural-looking teeth.

Benefits of All-on-4 dental implants
- Teeth in a day: Walk in with failing teeth or loose dentures and walk out the very same day with a complete, fixed set of beautiful, functional temporary teeth.
- Maximum stability: Because All on 4 dental implants are anchored directly into your jawbone, your new teeth will never slip, click, or fall out while you are eating or speaking.
- Aesthetic excellence: Your final teeth are custom designed to match your facial structures, skin tone, and preferences. They look, feel, and function exactly like a natural, healthy smile.
- Preserves facial structure: Unlike dentures, implants stimulate your jawbone, preventing the natural bone loss that happens after tooth loss, keeping your facial features looking structured and supported.
- No complex bone grafts: By angling the back implants, we can often avoid the need for bone grafting procedures, even if you have already experienced some bone loss.

What does the process involve?
Step 1: Initial consultation & 3D planning
We carry out a comprehensive digital assessment using our advanced in-house CBCT scanner and iTero intraoral scanners. This allows us to map your bone density and plan the precise placement of your implants digitally before your surgery even begins.
Step 2: Implant placement & teeth in a day
Any remaining failing teeth are gently removed, and your four titanium implants are placed under a comfortable local anaesthetic. A high-quality, temporary fixed bridge is securely attached to the implants on the very same day.
Step 3: Healing & integration
Over the next few months, your implants will quietly undergo osseointegration (fusing directly with your jawbone). During this time, you will wear your beautiful provisional teeth and eat a softer diet while your tissue heals.
Step 4: Your final smile
Once fully healed, we replace the provisional bridge with your permanent, hand-crafted, beautifully reinforced final teeth. We will give you a customised care routine and schedule a 3-month review to ensure you are absolutely loving your new life with permanent teeth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most patients who are missing most or all of their teeth, or are facing total tooth loss, are excellent candidates. Because the implants are placed at specific angles to utilise your existing bone, even patients who have been told they have too little bone for traditional implants are often ideal candidates for the all on 4 dental implants technique. We will thoroughly review your medical history and 3D scans at your consultation to confirm suitability.
Investing in full mouth dental implants is a significant financial commitment, but it is also a life-changing investment in your health, confidence, and day-to-day comfort. We offer a no-obligation assessment for £95. This is fully redeemable against your treatment. We will provide a detailed breakdown of the costs involved and can discuss potential finance options, subject to terms and conditions.
We use advanced local anaesthetics to ensure that you are completely numb and comfortable during the procedure. For anxious patients, we also offer conscious sedation options to keep you completely relaxed. It is completely normal to experience some mild swelling or bruising for a few days afterward, which can be easily managed with standard over-the-counter pain relief.
Traditional full-mouth reconstructions often require 6 to 8 implants per arch and frequently require extensive bone grafting beforehand. The All-on-4 technique uses just four strategically angled implants to achieve the exact same stability, completely bypassing the need for bone grafting for the vast majority of patients, saving months of healing time and cost.
Yes! This is one of the most incredible benefits of the treatment. On the day your implants are placed, we fit a strong, natural-looking temporary fixed bridge. You will never have to go a single day without teeth, and you can show off your smile immediately.
When looked after properly with excellent home cleaning and regular dental checkups, your titanium dental implants have the potential to last a lifetime. The custom bridge attached to them experiences standard daily wear and tear and may eventually require maintenance or refurbishment after many years of heavy use.
You clean them much like natural teeth! While they cannot get cavities, keeping the gums beneath the bridge healthy is crucial. We will walk you through exactly how to brush around the bridge and use specialised dental floss or a water flosser to keep your new smile fresh, clean, and healthy.
